Moms on Bicycles
What: The Moms on Bicycles Parade brings together mothers from Bucharest who consider that cycling is more than just a means of transportation or leisure, but rather a vehicle of sustainable education for their children;
Who: Mothers-to-be (pregnant women), moms with children in the pouch, mothers with children on tricycles and bicycles with and without training wheels, but also dads, grandparents, uncles, aunts, babysitters, siblings, along with children whom they are looking after;
Why: The Moms on Bicycles Parade aims to educate young children and parents on the importance of using the bicycle for a healthy lifestyle, but also to raise public awareness for local authorities on the status of urban cyclists and the much needed dedicated infrastructure.
When: Saturday, September 26, 2015, during 14.00-17.00
Venue: Herastrau Park – Charles de Gaulle Entrance
Place of arrival: Tete-a-Tete Cafe (Herastrau Park)
Route: Charles de Gaulle Entrance – Arc de Triomphe – Michael Jackson Alley – Beijing Boulevard – Aviators Boulevard -Charles de Gaulle Entrance – Tete-a-Tete Café.
