It’s that time of the year when we call those who want to be part of the Electric Castle magic to join the ECO Crew. Choose a promoter or volunteer role to put your charm and energy into creating the most ECO music festival in Romania!

This edition, we are kicking-off the EC #ZeroWaste campaign, which we embrace as a long-term goal to reduce, reuse and recycle all the waste generated at the festival. We also continue our awareness program (#EcoCitizen) on reducing the carbon footprint by acting on energy and water consumption, transportation alternatives and social engagement.

If you’ve never been to Electric Castle festival before or you haven’t seen our ECO Spot yet, plunge into the atmosphere first:

 Ready to JOIN the ECO CREW?

ECO-Promoter 

Our kind of promoter.

/ a girls position

/ paid role (250 lei + taxes);

/ free entrance, camping, water & a sandwich/shift;

/ 6-hour shift + 30 minutes break: 12:00 – 18:30 or 18:00 – 00:30 (Wed, 12th July – Sun, 16th July);

/ must be on site for training: Tue, 11th of July;

/ must wear the eco costume provided (T-shirt, skirt, leggings, bandana, accessories);

What would your role be?

• Engaging with the festival goers in a friendly manner without being pushy;
• Informing and educating about the festival’s Zero Waste campaign & the sustainability policy of Lidl, the ECO program sponsor;
• Being creative in convincing people to throw the waste they generate in the right bins;
• Promoting the ECO-Boomerang Instagram contest; 
• Leading by example: giving a helping hand to the cleaning team by picking up the recyclables, if needed.

Key skills:

• You have great verbal and non-verbal communications skills;
• You are spontaneous, cheerful and love talking to people; 
• You have good knowledge about Waste Management and Recycling or, at least, you can learn super-fast;
• You speak both Romanian and English very well.

Change Agents Volunteer (Camping)

Our ECO Spot

/ Volunteer position open for any gender;

/ Free entrance, camping, water & a sandwich/shift;

/ Volunteers will work at the ECO Spot located in the camping;

/ 6-hour shift + 30 minutes break: 08:00 – 14:30 / 14:00 – 20:30 / 20:00 – 02:30 / 02:00-08:30

/ First shift is on Wed, 12th July (08:00-16:30) and the last shift is on Mon, the 17th of July;

/ Must be available for doing shifts both by day and by night;

/ Must be on site for training: Tuesday, the 11th of July;

/ Must wear the eco costume provided (T-shirt, bandana);

What would your role be?

• Engaging with the festival campers in a friendly manner without being pushy;
• Informing and educating about what they can do to reduce the festival’s carbon footprint;
• Being creative in convincing people to join the ECO Game and win prizes;
• Leading by example: giving a helping hand to the cleaning team by picking up the recyclables, if needed.
• Your daily responsibilities will shift between:

/ Moderating the ECO Twister Game;

/ Arbitrating the Pedals Battle on the bicycles installation;

/ Retrieving and returning the phones charged at the ECO Spot;

/ Convincing people to take 5-minute showers;

/ Sharing plastic bags for rubbish and convincing people to clean their area in the camping by collecting their garbage selectively.
